The SOLE Difference
Becoming a Reiki practitioner requires more than learning symbols, hand positions, and techniques.
When you begin working with another person's energy, there is responsibility that comes with that. You need to understand your own energy. You need boundaries. You need to understand consent. You need to know how to hold space without trying to fix someone. And you need the confidence to stay grounded in yourself while supporting another person.

Understand Energy
Before working more deeply with someone else's energy, you need to understand your own. Our foundational Energetics 101 class teaches grounding, centering, clearing, energetic boundaries, intuition, nervous system awareness, and how to stay connected to yourself while supporting others.

Deepen Your Reiki Practice
Move beyond the foundations of Level 1 and learn traditional Reiki Level 2 symbols, distance Reiki, advanced techniques, intuitive practices, and how to facilitate a complete Reiki session for another person. You'll also receive your Reiki Level 2 attunement.

Learn to Hold Space Responsibly
Being able to work with energy does not automatically mean we know how to hold space for another human being. Learn about consent, ethics, communication, boundaries, trauma-informed awareness, nervous system responses, client autonomy, and the limits of your role as a Reiki practitioner.

Understand Your Own Energy First
Energetics 101 is included with your Level 2 training.
One of the biggest differences in Reiki education at SOLE is our belief that practitioners need a strong foundation in energetics before working with others.
In this foundational class, you'll explore grounding and centering, understanding your own energy, clearing and resetting your energy, energetic boundaries, personal sovereignty, sensitivity and empathy, chakra awareness, intuition, nervous system awareness, recognizing what belongs to you and what doesn't, staying connected to yourself while supporting another person, and creating a consistent energetic practice.
These aren't just tools you'll use during Reiki sessions. They're tools you can carry into your everyday life. Because understanding your own energy is the foundation of responsibly working with someone else's.
Five Energetics 101 Dates Every Year
We know everyone's schedule is different, so we offer five Energetics 101 classes throughout the year. Your class is already included in your Level 2 tuition. Simply choose whichever available date works best for you.
You may complete Energetics 101 before or after your Reiki Level 2 weekend.
Energetics 101 is mandatory and must be completed before receiving your Reiki Level 2 Practitioner Certificate.
Deepen Your Practice
Reiki Level 2 builds upon the foundation you developed in Level 1.
This is where you'll begin moving from a primarily self-healing practice into learning how to intentionally offer Reiki to another person. You'll deepen your understanding of Reiki while gaining more tools for working with energy physically, emotionally, intuitively, and from a distance.
Reiki Level 2 Symbols
You'll be introduced to the three traditional Usui Reiki Level 2 symbols and learn how to incorporate them into your practice.
The Power Symbol
Learn how this symbol is traditionally used to focus and strengthen intention within a Reiki practice.
The Mental & Emotional Symbol
Explore its traditional use within Reiki for supporting emotional and mental well-being and personal healing intentions.
The Distance Healing Symbol
Learn the traditional practice of offering Reiki from a distance while maintaining consent, intention, and appropriate energetic boundaries.
You'll have time to practice drawing, activating, and incorporating each symbol into your Reiki sessions.

This training is experiential. You'll have opportunities to practice what you're learning, ask questions, receive feedback, and become more comfortable working with another person.
Your Reiki Level 2 Attunement
An attunement is not the finish line. It's part of the learning.
As part of your training, you'll receive your traditional Usui Reiki Level 2 attunement. Your attunement marks the next stage of your Reiki education and introduces you to the symbols and practices traditionally associated with Reiki Level 2.
Confidence comes through practice, experience, self-awareness, and continuing to deepen your relationship with Reiki.
Knowing Reiki Isn't Enough

When someone comes to you for a Reiki session, they may be grieving, overwhelmed, processing trauma, navigating major life changes, or simply feeling vulnerable. At SOLE, we believe practitioners should understand how to support someone without becoming responsible for their healing.

Your training includes a SOLE Reiki Community Clinic.
Learning Reiki in a classroom is important. But there comes a moment when you need to practice with someone you don't already know.
These supervised clinic experiences give our students an opportunity to practice their skills while offering Reiki to members of our community.

Start with Reiki Level 1 for Self Healing.
Level 1 is our beginner-friendly introduction to Reiki and is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to use Reiki primarily for their own healing, energetic awareness, and self-care.
No previous experience is necessary for Level 1.
Once you've completed Reiki Level 1, you can continue into this Practitioner Training whenever you feel ready.
